Portsmouth Raceway Park Ownership Update

Ladies & gentlemen... it’s official!

After 36 years at the helm, the Coleman family has sold Portsmouth Raceway Park to Jamie and Judith Jent.

The Coleman's announced today that what began as a private test‑and‑tune track grew into something far bigger than they ever imagined... a place built on friendships, community, and the kind of loyalty you only find in Southern Ohio dirt racing. Their message was full of gratitude for the racers, fans, sponsors, and the crew that kept PRP alive for more than three decades.

They said it best themselves:
“It takes a village… and we were blessed.”

And now, the torch passes.

The Jent's have already proven at Mudlick that they know how to revive a racetrack with heart, sweat, and genuine care for the people who fill the stands. PRP is a different beast. Bigger history, bigger expectations, bigger emotions... but the Coleman's are asking the community to give the Jent's time, support, and space to make this season their own.

The Coleman's say they aren’t disappearing. They’ll be right there in the bleachers with the rest of us... as fans, as family, as part of the heartbeat of this place.

A Moment With Mengsk will continue following this story closely as PRP enters a brand‑new era. The history is unforgettable. The future just got a whole lot brighter.
