The First Moment With Mengsk

I took this photo during track prep on the Friday prelim night of the 2025 Dirt Track World Championship. My first crown jewel.

A sunset so unreal it felt like the whole place was holding its breath. I didn’t know then that this would become the cover photo for A Moment With Mengsk, or that I’d actually follow through with this idea, but looking back… it’s exactly right.

Staring into the pits that night, I realized I wanted to start telling stories from the track. Not just the results. The moments.
