Atomic Speedway Issues Update - Wednesday, April 29th Postponed

Atomic Speedway has officially postponed tomorrow night’s Blue Collar Racing Series event. Between the rain overnight, mist through mid‑morning, and another round coming tonight, the track surface won’t have any chance to recover. Tomorrow stays cool, cloudy, and damp, so there’s no way to prep a raceable surface without tearing things up.

Atomic plans to make this show up on a future Wednesday. The goal is to keep the mid‑week momentum going - quick program, one‑spin rule, no B‑mains, and out by 8 - 9pm when possible.

Atomic is off May 2 out of respect for other openers around the state. If you’re looking for racing this weekend, there’s plenty going on:

• Mansfield Speedway opens Saturday with a big night for Matt Tifft and crew featuring an American Late Model Iron-Man Series and FAST on Dirt double-header plus DIRTcar Modifieds!

• Attica Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway host The Greatest Show on Dirt... the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series!

• 35 Raceway Park kicks off their season with Opening Night #36!

• Eldora Speedway lights up the sky with their first Family Fireworks Night of the season!

• Florence Speedway hosts the Ralph Latham Memorial with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. I'll be attending this event for coverage!
